I was there for both shows, all I can say is they were amazing. The venue was small and intimate. Talked with Weir after the show, sounds like he is having fun with the band.

My favorite show

They left the Uncle Johns Band 2nd encore off the list.

I know this will sound controversial but this is my 33rd year following this music and this was far and away the best performance by ANY of the incarnations of the Band since the early 70′s.

I’ve seen more than 110 GD shows, and another 70-80 individual band members and post Jerry incarnations. I will say I have loved the Phil and Friends ensembles the best until now.

This was show had all the MAJIK and more than I had ever experienced. From the opening note till the end it was a perfectly designed and executed performance of Light and Sound. All I can say is Thank You for the weekend of a lifetime.

Blown away

I was at both Broomfield shows, and this was simply incredible! John was definitely channeling Garcia on Morning Dew, I started to think I had boarded a time machine back to 1971! Not to mention Bob telling a funny joke in the 1st set and Samson & Delilah -> Uncle John’s Band for a two-song encore! They were totally on fire for this one, find a copy if you can!

Boy that was like a Rat Dog and Phil Lesh band put together (lol). That was the best show since…… I was a dancin fool among many others.
